Joana Prunean

She graduated from California State University Fullerton with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a completed a Pre-MBA program in Business Administration from there also.
After graduating in 2002 Joana emailed her resume to R & D Medical repeatedly without ever receiving a response. From there she visited R&D Medical without an invitation and insisted she hand deliver her resume directly to the CEO.

Joana´s perseverance paid off by securing the position as Quality Assurance Manager. Her strong work ethic, motivation and intelligence gave R&D the opportunity to capitalize on these strengths. As a result, the CEO readily stepped aside and allowed her to take over other responsibilities in the company.

After producing considerable improvements in other areas of the company that allowed R&D Medical to maintain rapid growth Joana was given the position of Vice President of Operations. She has also gained an exceptional rating from our clients and has made significant strides in the improvement of our hydrogel technology.
