Director of Research and Development at R&D Medical Products.
After graduating in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, Jim developed Promeon hydrogels in the laboratories of Medtronic. He became Promeon Operations Manager and won two Medtronic World Class Manufacturing Awards. Jim further advanced the science and application of hydrogels at Covidien, Kimberly Clark, and Axelgaard Manufacturing where he was principal to the AmGel hydrogels. Jim joined R&D Medical Products in 2009 to broaden its product development effort. He is a Professional Chemical Engineer as recognized by the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and a Certified Quality Engineer by the American Society of Quality Control. Jim has fifteen US patents and six technical publications.
